零度C下的森林是位於高山市東南方溫泉地的一個冰雪祭典。由於地點位置的關係，在冬天一直維持在零度C以下。

樹木和風景被層層薄冰所覆蓋，晚上甚至還有點燈的活動。值得你來觀賞和體驗此一奇幻的行程。此行程還提供用冰做成的冰杯飲品供你飲用。

今年iSite Takayama提供了從高山市到零度C下的森林的來回行程，每人費用只需要3,800 日幣。 (住宿J-Hoppers的旅客可再折價500日幣)

此行程從2014年1月2日起到3月20日的每周二、周四、周六和周日都有運行，早上9:30和下午 4:00出發兩個時間。

早上行程:

高山車站出發時間: 9:30 / 零度C下的森林抵達時間: 10:30
       (1個小時自由時間)
零度C下的森林出發時間: 11:30 / 高山車站抵達時間: 12:30~

下午行程:

高山車站出發時間: 16:00 / 零度C下的森林抵達時間: 17:00
       (1個小時自由時間)(點燈活動)
零度C下的森林出發時間: 18:00 / 高山車站抵達時間: 19:00~

Mont Deus 滑雪體驗行程

Mont Deus是高山市附近最大的滑雪公園。你可以在此體驗像是雪橇等各種滑雪活動。此行程還有英文導遊一起隨行。

今年iSite Takayama提供了從高山市到Mont Deus滑雪公園的來回行程，每人費用只需要3,800 日幣。 (住宿J-Hoppers的旅客可再折價500日幣)

Mont Deus滑雪公園的來回行程從2014年1月1日起到3月7日的每周一、周三、周五都有運行，早上和下午兩個時間。

雪靴和雪衣也可供出租，費用分別是500日幣和2000日幣。


早上行程:

高山車站出發時間: 8:30 / Mont Deus滑雪場抵達時間: 9:00
       (2個小時自由時間)
滑雪場出發時間: 11:00 / 高山車站抵達時間: 11:30~

下午行程:

高山車站出發時間: 13:30 / Mont Deus滑雪場抵達時間: 14:00
       (2個小時自由時間)
滑雪場出發時間: 16:00 / 高山車站抵達時間: 16:30~

Mont Deus Snow Activity Tour

Mont Deus is one of the largest snow parks in the area and its location is conveniently close to Takayama City. You can enjoy snow tubing, sledding and various other snow activities. This trip is fully instructed by an English speaking tour manager.

This year, iSite Takayama is providing a round trip service from Takayama to Mont Deus Snow Park for only 3,800 yen/pp (w/ 500 yen discount for J-Hoppers Guests)

Round trips to Mont Deus will be running morning and afternoon from January 1st until March 7th 2014, every Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

Rental snow boots & snow clothes are available to rent for 500 & 2,000 yen respectively.


Morning Trip:

Depart Takayama Station: 8:30 / Arrive Mont Deus Ski Area: 9:00
       (2 Hour Leisure Time)
Depart Ski Area: 11:00 / Arrive Takayama Station: 11:30~

Afternoon Trip:

Depart Takayama Station: 13:30 / Arrive Mont Deus Ski Area: 14:00
       (2 Hour Leisure Time)
Depart Ski Area: 16:00 / Arrive Takayama Station: 16:30~

Hyotenka no Mori is an Ice Festival in a small onsen located south-eastwards in the upper outskirts of Takayama and due to the location and elevation it experiences continual freezing temperatures during the winter season.

The trees and scenery is coated in a thick, glossy layer of ice and is illuminated beautifully during the evening. It is a truly magical experience and well worth seeing! You can even try drinking from a cup made of ice if you're feeling daring enough!

This year, iSite Takayama is providing a return bus service w/ tour to Hyotenka no Mori for only 3,800 yen/pp (500 yen discount for J-Hoppers Guests)

This service will run from January 2nd until March 20th 2014. There will be a morning tour departing at 9:30am and an evening tour departing at 4:00pm every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday.

Morning Tour:

Takayama town looks more lively more than usual as people are preparing for theTakayama Spring Festival. The festival will be holding from tomorrow and day after tomorrow!

It's really rare to see cherry blossoms and the festival at the same time.
Someone told me it happen one in 10 years!

Cherry blossoms coming out here in Takayama!!!

Cherry blossoms seasons are almost finish in most of places in Japan.....
But here in Takayama the cherry blossoms have not bloomed yet!

Some of them are coming out little by littele now!!!

And spring Takayama Festival will be holding on April 14th and 15th!!!!
They are expecting to bloom at the same time as the festival!!
It will be really beautiful festival, you will be able to see floats with cherry blossoms XD

Worship of three temples

"San Ｔera Mairi (Worship of Three Temples)" was held in Hida-Furukawa last night (Jan 15th).
It has more than 300 years tradition!!!

January 16th is Shinran’s (the founder of Jyodo Shinshu) death anniversary.
People went to the three temples to pray for him and remembering him.
That was the beginningof the San Ｔera Mairi.

At the Meiji and Taisho period, young girls had to walk over the Nomugi Pass to go to Shinshu to make money by spinning thread.
They came back to home for praying and went out to San Tera Mairi dressed up specially for that day and had a romantic meeting with a man.
The parents who were searching the bride for their son saw the girls and that was the occasion of many marriage. This story is sung in old song of Hida-Furukawa.

Today.. it’s known that your wish for love comes true and a lot of young people come to visit this festival. 

I hope my wish also comes true!!!

This festival is held on January 15th every year, please come to Takayama and visit this beautiful festival next time if you missed this time!!!!
