Trip to the Edo period!

My friend and I joined the "trip to the Edo peried" last month!
It was really nice walking around the old town wearing Kimono.

I really recommend you to do this experience when you come to Takayama.

It will be great experience!

1,500yen for 2hours, included a free pass which allows you to get in to 16 tourist facilities in Takayama such as Takayama Festival Floats Museum. 

Visit Takayama City Memorial Hall at reception from 9 A.M to 3 P.M on every weekend of October 2012.


And Takayama Autumn Festival will be held on October 9th and 10th(takes place at the Hachiman Shrine)!!

Takayama festival is known as one of the three most beautiful festivals of Japan.
You will see gorgeous floats and marionettes!!

On the next week of the Takayama Autumn Festival,
the Doburoku festival will be held in Shirakawago (October 14 and 15). 

You can't miss this festival as well as the Takayama Autumn Festival!!
